Kim Kwang Jin is a South Korean singer-songwriter, composer, and former member of THE CLASSIC (더 클래식). He graduated from Jemulpo High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree from Yonsei University and a master's degree from the University of Michigan, both in Business Administration.

He made his debut in 1991, composing the single "Just Because You Are in This World", which he gifted to Han Dong Jun. He released his first album a few months later, but was completely overshadowed by rookie singer Shin Seung Hun. He then decided to form the duo THE CLASSIC with keyboardist Park Yong Jun, re-debuting in 1994 with their first album, "Magic Castle". After several successful singles, the duo disbanded in 1997, and he continued his intermittent activities as a solo musician, composer, and in the financial industry.
