He made his debut in October 2016 as the guitarist of rock band ABTB with their first album, "Attraction Between Two Bodies", as the initials of the title's words make up the band's name. They won the Best Rock Album (2017) and the Best Rock Song (2021) at the Korean Music Awards.
In 2021, he entered the survival competition "Super Band 2" in the guitarist group. During the team challenge, he joined other contestants to form the rock band KARDI and ended the show in 3rd place. The band officially debuted in September 2022 with their first EP, "Chil". He now alternates between both bands.
