She was born with congenital spina bifida and began taking swimming lessons as a form of rehabilitation. In 2020, she also became interested in Nordic skiing and became part of the national team in 2022. She represented the country at the 2026 Winter Paralympics in Milan-Cortina d'Ampezzo where she won 5 medals in total in 2 different sports (both sitting). She won a gold and a silver in para biathlon (12.5 kms and sprint pursuit), and she also won one gold and two silver medals in para cross country (20 kms, 10 kms, and sprint). She will now try to qualify for the 2028 Summer Paralympics in Los Angeles in swimming.
