Lee Seung Hoon, known mononymously as Hoony, is a South Korean singer, dancer, musical actor, and member of WINNER (위너). He graduated from Geumjeong High School and is enrolled in the Entertainment Studies program at International Cyber ​​University.

He first appeared on TV in 2011 as a contestant on the singing survival show "K-Pop Star". He finished in 4th place and caught the attention of YG's CEO, who offered him a contract at the end of the show. He then joined YG Entertainment (YG엔터테인먼트) as a trainee.

Then, in 2013, he was chosen as part of the agency's Team A and participated in the Mnet reality survival show "WIN: Who Is Next", competing against other trainees in Team B for a chance to debut as a group.
