He enlisted in the military on March 11, 2024 and was discharged on September 13, 2025. Shortly after, he entered the Mnet band survival show "Steal Heart Club" competing as a vocalist but was unable to debut in the resulting debut group after being eliminated in the 5th episode.
In February 2026, he was announced as a member of the male rock band V01D under IX Entertainment. He debuted as the band's main vocalist in March 2026 with their 1st mini album "01".
He has acted in a few musicals such as "Miss Saigon", "Gumarok", and "Maybe Happy Ending".
