Matsumoto Akihira is a Japanese actor born in Sendai City, Japan. When he was in the fourth grade of elementary school, he moved to Tokyo with his family and joined an entertainment agency in Tokyo to play a child role, but he was unable to get a job. After that, he worked as a stage actor and model. He was a member of BOYS AND MEN's brother group BOYS AND MEN Tokyo, and was active until the end of July 2017.

After leaving BOYS AND MEN Tokyo in 2017, he performed a total of 190 performances in the musical "Jipanggu Seinenki -Keicho envoy to Europe" in Kawaabira, Kawai Zawaiza.
