Ju Byeong Jin is a South Korean comedian and MC. He graduated from Kwangwoon Electronic Technical High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Physical Education from Incheon Physical Education College and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Chung-Ang University.

Before debuting, he wanted to become a singer and entered a contest with his older sister. But he forgot the lyrics and began making quick-witted comments to fill the time. As a result, the audience and the judges were impressed, and one judge hired him as a DJ in his café. He then made his debut in 1977 as an exclusive comedian for TBC.

After the network merger in 1980, TBC became part of the newly created KBS, and he transferred to the new network without problem. However, in 1983 he was booked for smoking marijuana and was banned by KBS for several years. Following the investigation, the prosecution granted him a suspension of indictment and released him, but he opted to switch to MBC, becoming the star of the network's comedy shows during the 1980s.

In 1991, he announced his retirement from comedy as the emerging SBS was poaching all MBC comedians. He became an entrepreneur, buying an underwear business and other ventures. He returned to TV in 1993 as a talk show host and has appeared sporadically since then.
