He made his debut (using the stage name Jung Sang) in October 2014 as A.CIAN's new lead vocalist. The group debuted in September 2012, but Wings Entertainment (윙즈 엔터테인먼트; formerly known as ISS Entertainment) began making several lineup changes, so he was added for the promotion of the single album "Ouch". He became the new leader when Lee Eui Jin (formerly known as Lo-J) left in 2015.
The group has not officially disbanded but has not released any new music since 2016 and is listed "on hiatus" by their company since 2020.
He then became a YouTuber, a broadcasting jockey (BJ) for Afreeca TV and is now also promoting (using the stage name Seo Woon Yul) as a solo artist and does busking alongside group mate Jin.O.
