Kim Woo Seok, formerly known professionally as Wooshin, is a South Korean singer, dancer and former member of UP10TION (업텐션) and X1 (엑스원). He dropped out of high school but later passed the High School Graduation Certification Examination. He is enrolled in the Broadcasting and Entertainment program at Global Cyber ​​University.

He made his debut in September 2015 as UP10TION's vocalist, visual and face of the group with their first EP, "Top Secret". They are managed by TOP Media (티오피미디어). However, he went on hiatus at the end of 2016 when he was involved in a controversy. During a segment of "The Show", he allegedly touched his co-host, Jeon Su Min, inappropriately in the chest area. Despite Jeon, him and their agencies denying the issue, he suffered severe criticism and had anxiety and mental stress as a result. He returned to the group's lineup in March 2018.

In mid-2019, he participated in Mnet's survival show "Produce X 101" and finished in 2nd place, earning a spot in the resulting project group.

He re-debuted in August 2019 as X1's lead vocalist and visual with their first mini-album, "Emergency: Quantum Leap" under Swing Entertainment (스윙 엔터테인먼트). Initially, the group had a 5-year contract, however, the vote manipulation scandal at MNet led to an investigation. They were forced to halt their activities and, after an unsuccessful negotiation about their future between Swing Entertainment and the members' individual agencies, they disbanded in January 2020.

He began focusing on his individual activities as he made his solo debut in May 2020 with the first mini-album, "1st Desire: [Greed]" (using his real name), he also made his acting debut a few months later with a role in the web drama "Twenty-Twenty", did not participate in UP10TION's 2022 comeback and even became a mentor for the Thai survival show "9low on top".

In March 2023, the agency informed that UP10TION would continue with only 7 members, implying he had quietly departed from the group. The next day, he signed with Blitzway Studios (블리츠웨이스튜디오).

He enlisted for his mandatory military service on November 4, 2024, and was discharged on May 3, 2026.
