Kim Min Hyuk, known previously as Da On and now simply as Minhyuk, is a South Korean singer, dancer, former member of TAKEN/A-PRINCE and current member of MAP6. He debuted in 2011 (under the stage name Daon) as TAKEN's rapper and vocalist with the song "Only You" but were not very successful. One year later, they decided to re-brand as A-PRINCE and he began using his birth name. A-PRINCE re-debuted with the song "You’re The Only One" but, in 2015, the agency New Planet Entertainment, held talk with the members and opted to disband the group. He remained in the company and re-debuted as a member of MAP6 later that year with the single "Storm". The group released several singles and one full album but has never enjoyed a huge success like other groups. In late 2019, it was announced that MAP6 will go on hiatus as 4 of the 5 members were getting ready for their mandatory military service. He enlisted in mid-2020 and was discharged in late 2021, but the group has not gotten back together suggesting it quietly disbanded. In July 2022, he married Japanese singer, actress and model Yukika.
