He made his debut in September 2012 as 100%'s main rapper and vocalist with their first single album, "We, 100%". The group had some commercial success thanks to the agency's strategy of pairing them with label mate group TEEN TOP.
In November 2013, he became part of the sub-unit 100% V (백퍼센트 V) and released their first self-titled single album.
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on July 15, 2019, and was discharged on February 7, 2021.
In October 2021, TOP Media (티오피미디어) announced the group's disbandment following the expiration of their contracts.
He re-debuted in Japan in July 2022 as FAVE1's main rapper and vocalist with their first single, "Zombie". However, Kiss Entertainment (キッス・エンタテインメント) announced his departure from the group in May 2023.
He appears to be out of the entertainment industry.
