Hwang Yun Sung is a South Korean trot singer and former member of ROMEO (로미오) and MISTER T (미스터T). He graduated from Korea Arts High School. He is the cousin of actress Hwang Jung Eum and of former "Produce 101 Season 1" trainee Hwang Ah Young.

He made his debut in May 2015 as ROMEO's main vocalist with their first EP, "The Romeo". They were originally managed in a joint venture by Japanese company Pony Canyon and by South Korean company CT Entertainment. In 2016, CT was acquired by Hunus Entertainment (후너스엔터테인먼트) and took full control of the group's management.

After early releases, the group began promoting less and less until they went on hiatus in early 2018. While no official announcement was ever made, ROMEO silently disbanded in late 2019.

In 2020, he decided to become a trot singer and participated in "Mr. Trot", placing 11th overall. After the show, he was part of the 4-member project group MISTER T, made of "Mr. Trot" singers who were just outside of the top 10. They debuted in June 2020 with the single "Better Man" but have not released any new material since mid-2021.

He enlisted for his mandatory military service on September 20, 2022, and was discharged on March 19, 2024. After his release, he has continued promoting as a soloist.

He is currently represented by TN Entertainment (티엔엔터테인먼트).
