Ju Won Tak
- Name: Ju Won Tak
- Native name: 주원탁
- Also Known as: Joo Won Tak, Roel, 로엘
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: February 24, 1996
- Age: 29
He then switched agencies and joined Inter BD Entertainment (인터비디 엔터테인먼트) and, in March 2016, he became part of pre-debut group D.I.P (디아이피). However, one month later, the agency announced he had left the group and the agency for personal reasons that were never clarified.
Later that year, he made his debut (using the stage name Roel) as UNDERDOG's new main vocalist and maknae. The group debuted in June 2013 and was independently produced and managed for 3 years. By 2016, 2ABLE Company (투에이블컴퍼니) took management control and decided to bring him as part of a total lineup overhaul. The group was not able to handle all these changes, and the agency announced its disbandment in early 2017.
In 2017, he participated in the singing survival show "Produce 101 Season 2" and finished in 62nd place. However, after the show concluded, fans began petitioning MNet to create a project group with popular contestants outside of the Top 10. So, the Japanese agency KISS Entertainment (キッス・エンタテインメント) took over the fan request.
He re-debuted in October 2017 as RAINZ's vocalist with their first EP, "Sunshine". The group signed a one-year contract and officially disbanded in October 2018, when they concluded their last activities in Japan.
In November 2018, he made his debut as a solo artist with the single "In The Light". Then, in May 2019, he became involved in a legal battle with 2ABLE as he requested the termination of his contract, claiming he had not been paid during his time at the company. He also accused the CEO of embezzlement and fraud, causing the agency to respond with a threat of legal action against him for breaching his contract. The matter was finally solved in November 2021, and he is currently not represented by any agency.
He continues his career as a singer but is now focused on providing OSTs for dramas.
