He made his debut in March 2017 (using the stage name Rayoon) as the group's rapper and main dancer with their first mini-album, "Manifest". They were managed by PH Entertainment (PH엔터테인먼트), but they were never able to establish a solid domestic fanbase.
The group did not release any new material in over 3 years, finally coming back in October 2020 with the digital single "Every Day". Then, the agency created a funding campaign so fans could support the group's second mini-album. The goal was reached in January 2021, but the material they released in September of that year was not the original project, but no explanation was given.
In February 2022, he announced MVP's disbandment via his personal Instagram as the agency never released any official statement.
He decided to become an actor but has not had many opportunities to appear on screen and remains without representation.
