He made his debut in November 2015 (using the stage name Woo Sung) as the group's vocalist and visual with their first EP, "Shall We".
After the group went into an indefinite hiatus in early 2020 when, some of the members began enlisting in the military.
He enlisted for his mandatory service on January 26, 2021, and was discharged on July 25, 2022.
Widmay Entertainment (위드메이) announced their disbandment in May 2023 when all members decided not to renew their contracts.
