Marie Ueda is a Japanese singer and actress. During elementary school, she took parts in various auditions for singing contests. When she became a junior high school student, her voice was wanted by another Fukuoka talent agency, however, she didn't want to become a talent, Marie always stated that she just want to make music. Then she was introduced in Giza studio audience and in 3rd year of junior high school achieved victory
In spring of 2006, after graduating from junior high school, Marie went to live alone in Ohsaka (in place where Giza talent agency is held) she started the music activities such as live performances and songwriting. In spring 2007, her live performances caught the attention of a staff of the record company. Marie enters into a full-fledged music production activities.
On 16 August 2014, through the indies activities for 7 years she made major debut with first single Kare ni Mamotte Hoshii 10 no koto.
On 20 May 2017, she debuted as an actress in the movie "Tomoshibi: Choshi Dentetsu no Chiisa na Kiseki", where she also performed theme song for the movie "Tomoshibi". Edit Biography
