Kim Ka Yeon

She made her debut in 1994 as part of the 5th open recruitment for comedians at MBC. Her dream was to become an actress but took the first opportunity to join the entertainment industry. She switched to full-time acting in 1999 when she debuted in the drama "Did We Really Love?" (우리가 정말 사랑했을까) and has steadily appeared in movies and dramas ever since.
She is also the former CEO of the StarCraft 2 professional gaming team SlayerS.
She married in 1995 and had a daughter the following year but divorced in 1998. In 2011, she married pro-gamer Im Yo Hwan despite many objections from his family as he is 10 years younger and was marrying a woman who had previously divorced and had a daughter. The couple welcomed a child in 2015.
