Okawa Hiroshi is the elder son of Okawa Ryuho, the founder and the "god" of the controversial religious movement "Happy Science".

Hiroshi participated in the movies of the Happy Science Group. On top of production, acting, and screenwriting, he also wrote lyrics, composed, and sung vocals for Happy Science movie tie-in songs. He was previously represented by and president of Happy Science's talent agency, NEW STAR PRODUCTION.

On July 1, 2018, he changed his artist name to just Hiroshi, removing his father's surname, and started his own company, HIROSHI KIKAKU to produce his own movies. In October 1, 2018, Hiroshi would declare his disconnection from Happy Science and would later be officially excommunicated from the group on June 25, 2019.

Right now, he is also a Youtuber, where his declarations against Happy Science are creating conflicts with his father and the religious movement. He also is a stage actor, having made his debut in 2017 as part of NEW STAR'S stage troupe, but continuing to perform independently. He runs the event bar Sandaime in Akasaka.
