Jung Hun Cheol, known professionally as Iron, was a South Korean rapper. He graduated from Jeonnam Industrial High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Performing Arts from Songwon University.

He first appeared on TV in 2014 as a contestant on "Show Me the Money Season 3". He made his debut in September 2016 with the album, "Rock Bottom". However, that will be his only music release as his career was derailed by legal issues and controversies.

In November 2016, he was seen smoking marijuana and, after an investigation, he admitted the crime and was sentenced to 8 months in jail, suspended for two years. In November 2018, he was convicted of multiple counts of assault against his ex-girlfriend. In one incident, he hit and fractured her face while having sex and, in another, he strangled her when she attempted to end the relationship. Finally, he injured himself with a kitchen knife and threatened to blame it on her while having a heated argument after breaking up. He publicly revealed her identity during the court trial and defamed her while still maintaining his innocence. Then, in December 2020, he was arrested again, this time for assaulting his 18-year old roommate (a minor under Korean laws at the time) with a baseball bat over 50 times.

On January 25, 2021, he was found by a security guard laying in a flowerbed outside an apartment complex that was not his residence. He was bleeding profusely and was taken to the hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival at the age of 29. The police investigation ruled out foul play but no more details were revealed per the family's request and an autopsy was not conducted.
