Go Myung Hwan is a South Korean actor, businessman, writer and former comedian. He graduated from Sangju High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater and Film from Dankook University.

He debuted in 1994 by winning the gold prize at the KBS University Comedy Festival. However, he did not have a chance to appear on TV and struggled financially for a few years until he re-debuted in 1997 as part of the 8th open recruitment for comedians at MBC.

He left the industry for 4 years after he fell into a slump, and most comedy programs at MBC were also cancelled. During that time, he worked as a planning manager at an internet company. When he returned, his comedy corner quickly became popular,r and he began enjoying some attention from the public.

However, in 2005, he suffered a serious car accident when his vehicle hit a 15-ton truck after skidding in snowy conditions. He suffered several fractures and a cerebral hemorrhage and was given days to live, but he miraculously survived. He decided to challenge himself after this experience and became a musical actor.

In 2010, he quit acting and became a writer, winning the Writing of the Year Award in 2011. He also runs a buckwheat noodle restaurant and is currently represented by L' July Entertainment (엘줄라이엔터테인먼트). He occasionally appears as a guest in cultural or economic programs.
