Kim Hwan is a South Korean announcer. He graduated from Chungang High School and later obtained a double bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Journalism and Mass Communication from Kyung Hee University.

Before debuting, he was a decent baseball player in high school and college and could have gone into professional baseball, but an injury ended his career in his 2nd year in university. He then found journalism and made his debut in 2007 as part of the 15th open recruitment for announcers at SBS. He worked as a reporter and later as part of the news desk until January 2018, when he submitted his resignation and became a freelancer.
