Lee Sang Mi is a South Korean singer and broadcaster. She graduated from Dongbu High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from Kyungpook National University. She made her debut in 2005 at the MBC College Music Festival as part of the band Ex. They took the grand prize with the song "Thank You" and later released their first album "Tell the Story" in 2007. The band was not be very successful and the members decided to disband in 2009. Lee shifted her focus to acting and began appearing in TV shows as well as hosting radio programs as well.
