Kim Jae Deok
- Name: Kim Jae Deok
- Native name: 김재덕
- Also Known as: Kim Jae Duk, Ducky, Kim Jae Duck
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: August 7, 1979
- Age: 45
He was brought in as a trainee by DSP Media (DSP미디어; formerly known as Daesung Planning) after being part of a dance crew called "Quicksilver" in Busan and a trainee at the company of former SEO TAIJI AND THE BOYS member Lee Juno. DSP originally wanted Eun Ji Won and Kang Sung Hoon to debut as a duo, but with the huge success of H.O.T, the plan was changed in order to form an idol group and he was also chosen.
He made his debut in April 1997 as SECHS KIES's lead rapper and lead dancer with their first album, "School Anthem". They quickly gained a substantial fanbase and are credited with pioneering the idol scene and fandom culture.
However, the group officially announced their disbandment in May 2000 and released one final digital single, "Thanks".
He was set to become a dance instructor at DSP, but he joined fellow groupmate Jang Su Won and re-debuted as part of the duo J-WALK in March 2002 with their album, "Suddenly". They were originally managed by Kiss Entertainment but have switched companies several times and have not released any new material since late 2014.
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on June 4, 2008, and was discharged on April 21, 2010.
In April 2016, SECHS KIES reunited during several episodes of "Infinite Challenge" and later signed a contract (except Ko Ji Yong) with YG Entertainment (YG엔터테인먼트). They began releasing new material again and celebrated their 20th anniversary with several concerts and a new album in April 2017.
The contract with YG ended in January 2024, indicating the group had disbanded again. He is not represented by any agency for his individual activities.
