Min Sun Ye is a South Korean singer, dancer and former member of WONDER GIRLS (원더걸스). She attended Korea Arts High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater from Dongguk University.

She made her debut in February 2007 as the group's original leader, main vocalist and lead dancer with their first single album, "The Wonder Begins". The group quickly became one of the most popular girl groups in South Korea, and singles like "Tell Me" (2007), "Nobody" (2008), and "So Hot" (2008) topped the domestic music charts. "Nobody" entered the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, making them the first South Korean group to enter the chart.

In January 2013, she went on an indefinite hiatus when she announced her marriage. The couple moved to Canada, and she quit the entertainment industry during that time.

In June 2015, JYP Entertainment (JYP엔터테인먼트) announced the group's comeback after a nearly 3-year inactivity. As plans were being made, she finally decided to officially leave the group in July of that year.

She returned to South Korea and the entertainment industry in 2018 when she signed up with Polaris Entertainment. She spent 4 years there and, in February 2022, moved to BlockBerry Creative (블록베리크리에이티브).

She made her debut as a solo artist in July 2022 with her first EP, "Genuine".

She is now an independent artist.
