  • Also Known as: Bom
  • Nationality: South Korean
  • Gender: Female
  • Born: March 24, 1984

Park Bom is a South Korean singer, dancer, and member of 2NE1 (투애니원). She lived in the United States for several years and graduated from Gould Academy. She later obtained a bachelor's degree from the Berkeley College of Music.

She became part of YG Entertainment (YG엔터테인먼트) in 2005 and featured in several music videos of several labelmates. By then, rumors of a new girl group labeled as the female version of BIGBANG, began circulating online.

She made her debut in March 2009 as 2NE1's main vocalist with the digital single "Lollipop", recorded alongside BIGBANG members as a promotion campaign for a cellphone by LG. Their first official EP, "2NE1", was released in May of that year, and the lead single, "Fire", became an instant hit, and the group's popularity increased. They became known for their musical experimentation, fashion, and stage presence and they are recognized for expanding girl group styles in the South Korean music industry. They also were the first girl group to have a world tour and held concerts in several countries.

She made her debut as a solo artist in October 2009 with the digital single "You And I". However, she went on hiatus in early 2014 when a news report stated that she was being prosecuted for drug smuggling after the police found 80 bags of amphetamines sent by her family living in the US to her South Korean home. She was never charged with any crime, but the public criticized the decision, arguing that she had received preferential treatment due to her celebrity status.

Then, in November 2016, YG announced 2NE1's disbandment as the group had been on a nearly two-year break, and all members were focusing on individual activities.

She signed with D-Nation Entertainment (디네이션 엔터테인먼트) and resumed her career as a solo artist.

In July 2024, she reunited with the other members to celebrate their 15th anniversary and performed in music shows and held several concerts. YG announced that the concerts will continue in 2025 as they will remain active for the time being.
