Before debuting, she spent time as a trainee at SM Entertainment and was a potential candidate to become part of GIRLS' GENERATION. However, as she was only 12 years old, the agency decided not to select her, and she later switched to another company.
She made her debut in September 2010 as COED SCHOOL's main vocalist with their first digital single, "Too Late". However, MBK Entertainment (MBK엔터테인먼트, formerly known as Core Contents Media) opted to create two separate groups, one for the boys and another for the girls. She re-debuted in February 2011 as F-VE DOLLS's main vocalist with their digital single "Lip Stains."
But, in August 2012, she announced her departure from the group and the agency as MBK faced financial issues, and the CEO wanted them to go back to being trainees. In addition, rumors began circulating about her and fellow member Seo Eun Kyo severely bullying group member Lee Seo An (formerly known as Lee Soo Mi). These rumors were never officially confirmed, but many believed them to be true.
Afterwards, she spent time at several agencies without much success. She was supposed to debut as part of HIGHCOLOR (하이컬러) but left the agency before she could re-debut.
She made her debut as a solo artist in July 2020 with the digital single "Highlight" and returned to the spotlight again as a contestant in the trot survival show "Miss Trot 2". This marked Huh's transition into a trot singer. As of January 2025, she is active as a trot singer and has released two trot singles, "Haeundae Beach" (해운대 밤바다) and "Saturday Night" (토요일 밤에), both of which have been written by Huh and her sister STELLA.
She is now represented by A-CL Entertainment (에이클엔터테인먼트).
