Shin Ye Chan is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor, former member of 1THE9 (원더나인) and current member of OMEGA X (오메가엑스). He graduated from Gyeonggi High School.

He appeared in the singing survival show "UNDER19" and by finishing in 4th place, he was able to join the project group.
He made his debut in April 2019 as 1THE9's main vocalist and lead dancer with their first mini-album, "XIX". They were supposed to be active for around one year so, in August 2020, MBK Entertainment (MBK 엔터테인먼트, formerly known as PocketDol Studio) announced their disbandment.

After switching agencies, he re-debuted in July 2021 as a member of OMEGA X with their first single album, "Vamos". However, in October 2022, a video of the CEO of OMEGA X's label (Spire Entertainment) abusing him and his group members came to light. The members filed a lawsuit against their company to cancel their exclusive contracts and to file for the trademark of their group name. In January 2023, OMEGA X won the lawsuit and officially ended their contract with the agency. This was finally made official on May 8, 2023. The group is has been represented by IPQ (아이피큐) since July 2023.

He made his acting debut in 2023 with a main role in the BL drama "A Shoulder to Cry On" (소년을 위로해줘).
