He was contestant of "Under Nineteen" and one of the finalists with the band "People on the Bridge (POTB)". He plays bass and keyboards and also contributed with some vocals.
He then joined the rock band BANDAGE in JTBC's survival show "Super Band" and, when it ended, they released their first digital single album, "Square One", in April 2020.
In April 2022, IST Entertainment (아이에스티엔터테인먼트) announced that he left the band due to musical differences.
