Louis
- Name: Louis
- Native name: 루이
- Also Known as: Kim Tae U, 김태우
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: April 23, 1999
- Age: 26
In 2018, he appeared in the singing survival show "UNDER19" and finished in 3rd place, thus earning a spot in the resulting project group. He made his debut in April 2019 as 1THE9's vocalist and rapper with their first mini-album, "XIX". They were supposed to be active for around one year, so in August 2020, PocketDol Studio (포켓돌스튜디오) announced their disbandment.
He returned to his agency and continued training until he re-debuted in May 2022 (now using the stage name Louis) as BLANK2Y's lead vocalist with their first album, "K2Y 1: Confidence". However, the group did not enjoy much commercial success and faced the controversy of member Lee Young Bin's scandal.
In June 2023, he requested the termination of his contract with Keystone Entertainment (키스톤 엔터테인먼트), and a few months later, he signed with DS Entertainment (DS엔터테인먼트) with 3 other former BLANK2Y members. Their new agency intended to keep the group and started planning all the marketing campaigns. However, by October 2023, it was decided that a re-brand was needed and the group was renamed DV.OL (다올).
Unfortunately, they never re-debuted as DV.OL went inactive in January 2024, and they seem to have quietly disbanded. He enlisted for his mandatory military service on December 4, 2024, and was discharged on June 3, 2026.
