Josefina was first seen on Philippine TV in April 2014 as a housemate of the fifth regular season of "Pinoy Big Brother, Pinoy Big Brother: All In" where she was dubbed the "Talented Darling ng Parañaque." She then went on to make her acting debut in the 2015 series"Waiting for Love" (Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita). In 2017, she won the 8th TV Series Craze award for Most Promising Actresses of the Year and the next year, she won the Favorite Pinoy Newbie award at the Kids' Choice Awards.
In 2018, Loisa released her first solo single, "I Will Accompany You" (Sasamahan Kita).
