Kim Woo Sung is the leader, lead vocalist and electric guitarist of the South Korean band The Rose.
He was born and grew up in Los Angeles, California. Woosung has a special talent for songwriting and beatboxing and he used to be an English teacher in South Korea.
Some of his closest friends are Jae from Day6, BM from KARD and Ashley from Ladies Code. He appeared in Ladies Code's music video for the song ''I hate you''.
In 2018, The Rose was featured on the web drama's ''Tofu Personified'' original soundtrack with the song ''With you''.
On March 20, 2019, it was announced that Woosung will be the third MC of "After School Club" beginning with episode 361 on March 26, 2019.
He was a participant on the show Superband and his group "Moné" ended up as 4th place at the finale.
