He made his debut in August 2018 (under the stage name O.V) as the group's leader, main rapper and main dancer with their first single album "0806". The group enjoyed some initial success by winning the Focus Award at the 2018 Asia Artist Awards and also began international tours to Japan and the Middle East. The members were involved in songwriting and choreography and, in an unusual trend, were a hip-hop oriented idol group.
In early 2020, all members terminated their contracts with All-S Company (올에스컴퍼니) and moved to AI Grand Korea (아이그랜드코리아). In the following years, they faced several lineup changes with the departure of some members.
In November 2022, the agency announced D-CRUNCH's disbandment.
He continues to promote under the stage name Odd Vibe (the meaning of his original stage name O.V). He enlisted for his mandatory military service on March 26, 2024 and is expected to be discharged sometime in late 2025.
