Kawahara Masahiko is a Japanese actor, director, and screenwriter.

He completed his education at Shiritsu Hokuriku High School and later graduated from the Faculty of Literature at Meiji University.

In 1992, he founded "HIGHLEG JESUS," where he directed theater and live performances until the group disbanded in 2002.

In April 2003, he married actress Rie Tomosaka. Their son was born in October 2004, and they divorced in December 2008.

In December 2016, he remarried actress Sei Ando. They welcomed twin daughters in August 2017.
