Kim Ji Soo is a South Korean singer. He graduated from Cheongju Internet High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Applied Music from Daebul University and a master's degree in Practical Music from Dongduk Women's University.

Before debuting, he participated in "Superstar K2" quickly impressing the judges with his vocals. He saw his popularity increase during the show as he revealed he was raised by his grandmother without seeing his parents for several years. The family then moved to a larger house but his parents were separated and lived in different areas of the same home. However, an anonymous source made public his CyWorld posts from many years ago and his popularity was affected as he cursed a lot in those posts which were reflected in a lower number of votes, finishing the competition in 5th place.

After the show, he made his official debut by releasing his 1st mini-album in July 2011 and signing with Shofar Music. He occasionally releases new music (the most recent being the single "Nothing Without You" in 2021) and he now owns a barbershop in Seoul.
