Kim Tae Kwan
- Name: Kim Tae Kwan
- Native name: 김태관
- Also Known as: 휘찬, Kim Tae Gwan, Hwi Chan
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: June 8, 1988
- Age: 37
He participated in Mnet's reality show "Let's Coke Play! Battle Shinhwa!". The show was sponsored by Good Entertainment and Coca-Cola, and the contestants had to prove their endurance, singing and dancing skills. They were judged and ultimately selected by SHINHWA members. He was not originally selected as part of the final group, but when Kim Jang Hyun withdrew from the show, he was chosen as his replacement.
He made his debut in December 2006 with their first single, "Crash". The group went on to be more successful in Thailand and China instead of South Korea, as they were constantly criticized for their weak vocals back at home. One member left in mid-2008, and then two more (including him) opted to enlist for their mandatory military service. As a result, the group went on hiatus in July of that year.
Unfortunately, they will never perform again as Good Entertainment filed for bankruptcy in early 2009 and later dissolved. The group went inactive, and ultimately, all members moved on to other activities. They briefly reunited in 2019 (except Lio) after he was eliminated in an episode of "I Can See Your Voice Season 6" and performed one of their singles.
He then tried to switch to trot music and participated in "Mr. Trot Season 2" but was unsuccessful. He also tried to start an acting career in China before deciding to leave the industry and open a café in 2024.
