Before debuting, he spent several years as a trainee at Maroo Entertainment and represented the company in the survival show "Produce 101 Season 2". After he was eliminated, he decided to leave the agency as he had doubts about continuing to pursue a career as an idol. However, after a few years, he changed his mind and tried again.
In November 2023, he signed with Howling Entertainment (하울링엔터테인먼트), and he finally made his debut in January 2024 as WAKER's rapper with their first mini-album, "Mission of School".
