He was part of the singing survival show "Produce X 101", and after the show finished, he joined Woollim Entertainment's (울림엔터테인먼트) new boy group. He made his debut in October 2020 as DRIPPIN's vocalist with their first EP, "Boyager".
In May 2022, they debuted in Japan with the single "So Good" and continue to promote steadily in both countries.
In March 2024, Woolim announced he would go on hiatus due to poor health.
He enlisted as a public service worker on February 19, 2026.
