- Born: December 31, 1905

She graduated from Koran Women's School and joined Osanai Kaoru’s Tsukiji Little Theater in 1925, making her stage debut in "Kakujin Kakusetsu". In 1929, at age 23, she left the theater to help form the Shinjuku Theater Company. She passed away from obstructive jaundice on March 20, 1976, at the age of 70.
