Yvonne Yao is a Taiwanese model and actress from Taipei, Taiwan. In 2000, she participated in the "Wings of Angels" model selection event, where she won the Best Photogenic Award, leading to a contract with Elite Model Management.

Yao graduated from Huagang Arts School with a major in Drama and obtained a degree in Drama and Applied Theater from the National Taiwan University of Arts on June 21, 2008.

In September 2020, she became an assistant professor in the Department of Film and Television Arts at Hsuan Chuang University.
