He made his debut in April 2017 as UNIT BLACK's main vocalist and lead dancer with their first single, "Steal Your Heart." The group was the first promotional unit formed after the conclusion of the singing survival show BOYS24 (소년24). However, under their agreement, they were only active for 4 months and disbanded in August of the same year.
In December 2022, he switched agencies and re-debuted as XEED's leader and vocalist with their first mini album, "Dream Land." However, in March 2024, Nature Space (네이처스페이스) unexpectedly announced the group's disbandment, which happened one month later.
