He made his debut in April 2017 as the group's main rapper with their 1st single, "Steal Your Heart". The group was the first promotional unit formed after the conclusion of singing survival show BOYS24 (소년24). However, under their agreement, they were only active for 4 months and disbanded in August of the same year.
In 2020, he switched agencies and re-debuted as a soloist (under the stage name R1AN) with the single "에베베 (Eh bebe)". He is also part of Dance Team Auspicious Crew.
