Honjo Manami is a Japanese talent, actress, voice actress, narrator, and essayist born in Tokyo, Japan. Her birth name is Sawada Manami (沢田まなみ). She is represented by Acura Inc., a talent agency.

She spent her early years in Tokyo before moving to Osaka and Hyogo at the age of 4, where she resided for 20 years before returning to Tokyo. Since April 2013, she has been living in Kyoto.

She attended Ibaraki Toin Junior High School, Osaka Takatsuki Kita High School, and Ikebana Junior College. During her school years, she also worked as a model, appearing in various advertisements.

Honjo made her debut in the entertainment industry in July 1993 through the Fuji TV drama "Jaja Uma Narashi." Subsequently, in 1995, she gained prominence as a gravure idol when she was chosen as the model for Unichika's swimsuit campaign.

In her personal life, she was romantically involved with comedian K2, also known as Shuwa Katsumata, in 1996. Later, in December 2002, she married Sawada Yasuhiko, an editor at Magazine House. They welcomed their eldest daughter on December 29, 2006, and a baby boy on March 8, 2013.

Recently, on June 25, 2024, during the broadcast of "news okaeri" on ABC TV, where she serves as the Tuesday MC, she announced her upcoming leave of absence due to health reasons, effective the following week.
