Kawamura Reikichi
- Name: Kawamura Reikichi
- Native name: 河村黎吉
- Also Known as: Kawamura Ishigorou, かわむら れいきち, かわむら いしごろう, 河村石五郎
- Nationality: Japanese
- Gender: Male
- Born: September 1, 1897
- Died: December 22, 1952
After graduating from the preparatory department of Nishijin Castle Commercial School in Kanda, he made his stage debut at the age of 13 at Shinshaza in Nakasu. He joined an unknown theater troupe of Shinpa and toured various regions, occasionally organizing his own small theater troupe.
After his last stage performance at Honjo Juzaburoza, he wrapped up his theater career and joined the Shochiku Kamata Studios in May 1921. His debut film was "Sake Chu Nikki," released in June of the same year. In January 1923, he was promoted to sub-manager. However, on September 1 of the same year, the Great Kanto Earthquake struck, rendering the Kamata Studios unusable. He, along with most of the staff, relocated to the Shimo-Kamo Studios. He was promoted to manager in January 1924. In the same year, he returned to the Kamata Studios.
After the war, he became a freelancer.
He collapsed due to stomach cancer and passed away on December 22, 1952. He was 55 years old at the time of his death.
