He made his debut in August 2019 (under the stage name Hwan) as N.CUS's main vocalist with their first mini album, "Matchless Love". However, their agency, Kyuri Entertainment (규리 엔터테인먼트), faced financial issues that limited the opportunities to promote their songs.
In mid-2020, three members left and, by January 2022, 8 of the 9 remaining members terminated their contracts with the agency and silently disbanded.
He switched agencies and re-debuted in November 2022 as a member of WeNU with their first digital single, "Haru Haru". They are managed by Irion Entertainment (이리온엔터테인먼트).
