Choi Han Bit is a South Korean model, actress and singer. She graduated from the School of Dance at the Korean National University of Arts with a degree in Korean traditional dance. Originally born a man, she never felt comfortable and, with the support of her parents, she underwent male-to-female sex reassignment surgery in 2006. After the surgery, she changed her given name to Han Bit and is legally recognized as a female in South Korea. Prior to her surgery, she had appeared on the SBS show "Yoo Jae Suk's Jinsil Game" in 2005.

In 2009, she applied for the Super Model Contest at SBS, and despite multiple complaints, the network decided to let her participate, fearing a lawsuit for discrimination. She finished in Top 32 and officially debuted as a model, but she has faced rejection from some inside the industry.

In 2012, she participated in season 3 of "Korea's Next Top Model" and finished in 10th place. She always expressed her desire to act and sing, and in 2016, she made her singing debut as part of the girl group MERCURY. The group was popular because of her presence as a transgendered woman, and after their debut song, they stopped promoting. They have never officially disbanded but have not released anything new since the end of 2016. She also began getting minor roles in TV dramas.
