She made her debut in 2002 when she featured in duo LEESSANG's (리쌍) first title song, "Rush". She received a lot of attention from producers as soon as the single was released due to his unique tone and decent vocal range, which are not common in South Korea.
Due to her successful collaboration, she participated as the sole vocalist in LEESSANG's non-regular album "Lee Ssang Special Jungin", released in March 2004. Around that time, she joined the R&B band G-FLA as their vocalist and released their first album, "Groove Flamingo". She continued with them until their disbandment in September 2007.
She finally made her debut as a solo artist in March 2010 with her first album, "From Andromeda". The lead single, "I Hate You", is one of the top songs chosen at karaoke bars.
She married singer and actor Jo Jung Chi in 2013, and the couple has two children.
She is represented by White Bear Entertainment (하얀곰엔터테인먼트).
