Ima Harube, born Takasaki Eiichi (高崎英雄) in Kiyase, Kurate, Fukuoka, Japan, was a Japanese writer and playwright. He also used the pen name Ima Uhei (伊馬鵜平) earlier in his career.

Born into a merchant family with roots dating back to the Edo period, Ima graduated from the former Kurate Middle School (鞍手中学校) and studied at Kokugakuin University (國學院大學), where he was mentored by ethnologist and linguist Saku Choku (釈迢空).

In 1932, he joined the newly founded Moulin Rouge theater company (ムーランルージュ) as a scriptwriter under the pen name Ima Uhei, before later working in the script department of P.C.L. (ピー・シー・エル). In 1934, he co-founded the literary journal Aoi Hana (青い花).

After World War II, he changed his pen name to Ima Harube. He passed away on March 17, 1984, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Hiroo Hospital.
