Dimash Qudaibergen is a Kazakh singer, songwriter, actor, model, and multi-instrumentalist born in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. Trained in both classical and contemporary music, he began his musical education at the age of five, studying piano, violin, and voice at the children’s studio of Aktobe Music College. He first appeared on stage at age two and gave his first vocal performance at five. In 2000, at age six, he won the national piano contest Aynalayin.

Qudaibergen later attended Gymnasium No. 32 in Aktobe and completed a Broadway Musical master class in 2009. In 2014, he graduated with a specialization in classical voice (Bel Canto) from the Akhmet Zhubanov Aktobe Music College. He then pursued contemporary music studies, focusing on jazz and pop, at the Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Voice in 2018 and a master’s degree in Composition in 2020, receiving a perfect score on his thesis and a recommendation for doctoral studies.

Despite being offered a position at the Astana Opera, he chose to pursue a career in contemporary music, blending classical techniques and Kazakh traditional elements with pop. From 2010 to 2013, he won several vocal competitions in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan, including Sonorous Voices of Baikonur (2010), Zhas Kanat (2012), Oriental Bazaar (2012), and Meikin Asia (2013).

He released his debut extended play on 1 January 2016 and his first full-length album, iD, in June 2019. In June 2020, IPZUSA, a U.S.-based company, announced a contract with him. In December 2022, he was awarded the Bolashak International Scholarship.

Qudaibergen comes from a musically active family. His father, Qanat Qudaibergenuly Aitbaev (Қанат Құдайбергенұлы Айтбаев), previously led the Cultural Development Board in Aktobe. His mother, Svetlana Aitbaeva (Светлана Айтбаева), is a soprano with the Aktobe Philharmonic Society, a member of the Standing Committee on Social and Cultural Development, and artistic director of the children’s studio Saz. He has a younger sister, Raushan, and a younger brother, Abilmansur, who is also active in music as a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
