Using his real name, he made his debut in October 2015 as MCROWN's vocalist with their first single album "Avenue Nowhere." He left in early 2016, just weeks before they disbanded.
After switching agencies, he re-debuted in July 2017 as 14U's leader and vocalist with their first single album "VVV." In May 2019, BG Entertainment (백곰엔터테인먼트) announced the group's disbandment after thirteen members decided not to renew their contracts. He used to run a YouTube channel with fellow 14U members Luha and Go Hyeon.
