Jung Joo Ri is a South Korean comedienne. She graduated from Dongducheon High School and later obtained a professional bachelor in Skin Cosmetology from Kyungbok University. During high school, she participated in a comedy competition, alongside her classmate Yang Se Hyung, and won. She became interested in comedy but her parents and teacher persuaded her to look for a profession that could lead to a good job.

In 2005, she saw an ad for the 8th open recruitment for comedians at SBS and called Yang to encourage him to participate. Instead, he convinced her to apply and managed to even win the Grand Prize. She made her debut soon after and appeared in several comedy and variety shows, always managing to impress the audience and fellow comedians with her quick wits and funny segments. She spent some time away from comedy, only appearing on variety shows, until she returned as a cast member of "Comedy Big League" in 2011.

She married her non-celebrity boyfriend in 2015 but then became involved in controversy the following year when she appeared in an episode of "Happy Together" and confessed to having an affair while her husband was in the army.
